International Symposium
on Public Relations

"The International Symposium on Public Relations", to be organized by Cyprus International University's Faculty of Communication between 15-17 April 2009, will bring academics, students and professionals in the field of communication sciences together.

The Symposium, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Communication of Akdeniz University, will form an academic platform on which developments, applications and for the future advancement of the field will be discussed.

This three days symposium aims to have participants share ideas and examples of applied experiences on a large scale from international public relations to professional PR applications, from ethics to application of contemporary technologies to interdisciplinary interaction.

We would like to invite everyone who believes in the importance of public relations, who has contributed in public relations to such a comprehensive scientific gathering in North Cyprus.

Proposals on the following topics in English or Turkish languages may be submitted to the symposium;

Registration Fee

Regular participation: 100 USD
Accompanying persons: 80 USD

Registration fee includes:

  • Proceedings of the Symposium
  • Attendance to all sessions during the symposium
  • Program book, attendance certificate, leaflet, map and other symposium materials
  • Admittance to welcome cocktail and other invited activities
